Netflix is turning its attention from quarterbacks to receivers in 2024.

A documentary series titled "Receiver" following Justin Jefferson, Davante Adams, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, and Amon-Ra St. Brown will debut this summer, the streaming service announced Tuesday.

The eight-episode show will be produced by NFL Films, Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions, and Patrick Mahomes' 2PM Productions.

The same team scored a big hit last year with "Quarterbacks," which starred Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, and Marcus Mariota as they made their way through the 2022 season.

"We are excited to be working again with Netflix and NFL Films to give fans unprecedented access to what it's like to play receiver at the highest level," said Manning, according to NFL.com. "As we did with 'Quarterback,' we look forward to telling the stories of five incredible receivers, each with their unique personality, skillset and motivation for what drives them to be the best."

There was doubt about a second season of the quarterback-focused series after a host of passers - including Jalen Hurts and Joe Burrow - publicly passed on being a part of it.

Adams is a three-time All-Pro and has twice topped the NFL in receiving touchdowns. Jefferson led the NFL in catches and yards in 2022 before an injury-shortened 2023 campaign.

Samuel and Kittle have been key cogs in a San Francisco 49ers team that's made two Super Bowl appearances since 2019. Meanwhile, St. Brown was named a first-team All-Pro for the first time in 2023 after a 119-catch, 1,515-yard season.
