Suspended Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory has failed a seventh drug test, and his NFL career could now be over, sources told TMZ Sports.

Gregory - who's already serving a ban of at least one year for violating the league's substance abuse policy - tested positive for marijuana on Feb. 21, with the NFL informing him of the failed test on March 2.

The 24-year-old has rebuffed NFL officials' attempts to talk about the situation, and people close to Gregory believe his playing career is done.

TMZ Sports contacted Gregory's listed agent, Deryk Gilmore, but was told by Gilmore that he no longer represents the young pass rusher.

It's unclear if the NFL will impose further punishment on Gregory for this latest indiscretion.
