Colts' Malik Hooker: Falls to Colts at 15th pick
The Colts selected Hooker (hip/sports hernia) in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, 15th overall.
Analysis:
The Colts probably didn't expect to pick a safety Thursday, but when a consensus top-10 pick falls to you at 15, plans tend to change. Hooker only started one year at Ohio State but gave a convincing look of a game-changing centerfield safety, intercepting seven passes in 13 games and returning three for touchdowns. If he earns a starting role right away in Indianapolis, Hooker could move up the IDP rankings in a hurry.
