Prospect Brantley won't find out about battery charge until after draft

Florida defensive tackle prospect Caleb Brantley won't find out if he's going to be formally charged with misdemeanor simple battery until after Thursday's draft.

A Florida state attorney said Monday his office won't determine Brantley's charges until after the start of the 2017 NFL Draft as he was accused of striking a woman April 13, according to ESPN's Mark Schlabach.
Brantley allegedly knocked the woman unconscious and took out one of her teeth outside a Florida bar. She reportedly had to be taken to hospital.
Prior to the alleged incident, Brantley was projected as a possible second-round pick.
