Look: Did the Lions accidentally leak their new uniforms?

The Detroit Lions may have let the cat out of the bag when it comes to their new uniforms.

The team is expected to reveal a new look that will remove black from its blue-and-silver scheme on April 13, but an email sent to season-ticket holders inviting them to the unveiling event appears to include a peak at the uniforms.

The image shows Lions players wearing four different jerseys:

The image is grainy and details are hard to make out, but it looks like Marvin Jones is wearing the team's tweaked white uniform, Matthew Stafford is wearing a throwback, Ezekiel Ansah is wearing a new home uniform (note the different helmet stripe), and Sam Martin is wearing what appears to be a silver Color Rush uniform with the word "Lions" on the sleeve.

Team president Rod Wood wouldn't comment on the legitimacy of the leak when he spoke to reporters Tuesday.

"I mean, there were a few things, you guys probably saw this, that were leaked a couple weeks ago. I’m not going to comment on how accurate they were, so there’s interest," Wood said, according to Justin Rogers of The Detroit News. "You know, some of the players have seen them because we've done some photo shoots and things and they seem to be very excited about it."
