Cardinals' Jaron Brown: Making progress from torn ACL
Brown has made progress in his recovery from a torn ACL, according to one of his tweets.
Analysis:
In particular, Brown demonstrated balance, performed squats, and jogged at a decent pace in an Instagram post. Four months after undergoing surgery on the afflicted region, he's clearly in a good spot and could be making inroads on regular appearances during the offseason program. Once he returns to full health, he'll have a chance to break into a receiving corps behind Larry Fitzgerald, as John Brown's sickle-cell trait may still impact his conditioning and J.J. Nelson remains a quick, but unproven, commodity. On the other hand, the Cardinals may well select a wide receiver early in this year's draft in order to appease the offensive mind of head coach Bruce Arians, thereby pushing Jaron Brown further down the depth chart.
