Broncos' Donald Stephenson: Restructures contract

Stephenson agreed to restructure his contract for the 2017 season in order to remain with the Broncos, The Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Stephenson signed a three-year, $14 million dollar contract with the Broncos last March, but his first year with the team was largely a disappointment. Presumably to avoid the chopping block, he agreed to take just half of the $4 million he was guaranteed this upcoming season, although he can earn back the other half if he ultimately makes the 53-man roster come September.
