The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed wide receiver DeSean Jackson to a contract that will pay him an average of $12 million per year, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

Jackson presents Jameis Winston with another downfield option, averaging an NFL-best 17.9 yards per reception in 2016. The veteran wide receiver caught 56 passes for 1,005 yards and four touchdowns as a member of the Washington Redskins.

"DeSean Jackson is a dominant deep threat. He's my son's favorite player in the NFL. Would be great to have him," Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy said to ESPN's Josina Anderson.

Paired alongside Mike Evans, the Buccaneers sport a formidable wide receiver duo entering the 2017 season.
