Redskins' Josh Doctson: Expected to be healthy by end of March

Doctson (Achilles) is expected to be 100 percent healthy by the end of March, Brian McNally of 106.7 FM The Fan reports.

Analysis:

Doctson was limited to just two games as a rookie while recovering from an Achilles injury sustained during the past offseason, and landed back on IR in October upon suffering a setback. The wideout has made strong progress in his recovery since the season ended, as he took part in running and catching drills last week and is expected to increase his activities in the weeks to come. If Doctson proves to be healthy when training camp opens in the summer, he could challenge for a starting role if the Redskins fail to restock their receiving corps when Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson become free agents in March.
