Edelman's circus catch to be featured on next SI cover

After edging out the competition in a vote, an incredible image of Julian Edelman's circus grab in Super Bowl LI is officially set to grace the cover of next week's Sports Illustrated.

Picking up a key first down late in the fourth quarter, the New England Patriots wideout fought off several Atlanta Falcons defenders to corral a deflected Tom Brady pass that was falling to the ground.

New England then tied the game with a touchdown and two-point conversion a few plays after the 23-yard pickup, before a near-perfect drive in overtime sealed the club's fifth Lombardi Trophy.

Right up there with David Tyree's helmet catch from Super Bowl XLII, Edelman's grab is certainly worthy of consideration as the best we've ever seen on football's biggest stage.
