Report: Julio Jones may need toe surgery after Super Bowl

Dale Zanine / USA TODAY Sports

Julio Jones is healthy enough to play in Super Bowl LI on Sunday, but the toe injury that's lingered all season could require surgery this offseason, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The Atlanta Falcons star receiver will reportedly undergo a full evaluation after the game against the New England Patriots to determine whether he'll need to have a procedure.

The surgery is not expected to impact his 2017 season.

Jones is also battling an ankle injury, but that won't require surgery, adds Rapoport.
