Jones labels Butler a 'great player,' not worried about individual matchup

Julio Jones remains undeterred by any single defender in the NFL.

Jones, who was named a first-team All-Pro for the second consecutive season, torched the Green Bay Packers during the NFC Championship Game and is in peak form ahead of Super Bowl LI versus the New England Patriots.

It's likely that the Patriots will deploy second-team All-Pro cornerback Malcolm Butler against him, and while Jones complimented his opponent, he's not altogether concerned about the impending showdown.

"He's a great player," Jones said of Butler to ESPN's Vaughn McClure. "But at the end of the day, I've just got to focus on me, and getting me better, and just working with my teammates."

Some analysts tried to bill the game as a contest between Tom Brady versus Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons' top-ranked offense, featuring Jones, but the star wide receiver disagrees with that notion.

"My thing is, going into a game, it's a team game," Jones said. "It's just not me. I'm just going out there doing whatever it takes to win the game, to help my brothers out. It's not me against one other person. Next week it's the Atlanta Falcons against the New England Patriots."
