Rodgers believes he still has plenty of time to play at high level

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said he isn't going anywhere following Sunday's 44-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship Game.

Rodgers went 27-of-45 for 287 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception but it wasn't enough to elevate the Packers into Super Bowl LI. At 33, some are concerned that the Packers are wasting years of his prime, but it's not something the two-time MVP appears to be worried about.

"I still feel pretty young," Rodgers said via ESPN's Rob Demovsky. "I have a number of years left in me to play at a high level."

Green Bay entered the playoffs as the NFC's fourth seed and Rodgers stressed the importance of securing a first-round bye.

"If this shows us anything it's how important home-field advantage is," Rodgers said. "We've played in three of these now, all on the road."

Although Rodgers is surely disappointed with the result of the game, he was sure to give due credit to Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan.

"We played a hot team. You've got to give them credit. Matt (Ryan) is playing incredible right now," Rodgers said.

Rodgers also praised teammate Jordy Nelson for playing in the contest with broken ribs, incurred against the New York Giants two weeks ago.

The Packers may be forced to make a number of urgent moves to maximize Rodgers' window of opportunity. In the meantime, the star quarterback doesn't appear to be all too concerned about his vitality, as a long winter approaches.
