The final score may tell the story of a blowout, but Tom Brady knows the New England Patriots' offense is far better than it showed in Saturday's win over the Houston Texans.

Rather than enjoying the divisional-round victory during his postgame media availability, the star quarterback indicated that there's plenty of work to be done looking ahead to the AFC title game.

"It doesn't feel great because we worked pretty hard to play a lot better than we played," Brady said, via Jeff Howe of The Boston Herald.

Brady finished the game with completions on just 18-of-38 pass attempts, throwing for 287 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions.

A 34-point output against the NFL's top-ranked defense remains impressive, but it's fair to suggest a more efficient showing will be required against either the Pittsburgh Steelers or Kansas City Chiefs next week.

If the Patriots' regular-season dominance can be taken as any indication, Brady and Co. will have every opportunity to bounce back.

The 39-year-old made a strong case for MVP honors despite missing four games due to suspension, completing 67.4 percent of his passes for 3,554 yards, 28 touchdowns, and just two interceptions.
