Eagles' Jenkins: I'd rather face Brady than Rodgers

The debate never dies.

While Tom Brady's resume - headlined by four Super Bowl wins - has given him a strong argument to be considered the greatest quarterback of all time, some defenders have more fear when facing another current signal caller.

Philadelphia Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins agrees that Brady is "by far" the all-time greatest, but he would take a matchup with the New England Patriots quarterback over Green Bay Packers field general Aaron Rodgers any day.

"I'd rather play against Tom Brady, because at the end of the day I know he's going to be three yards from that center and he's not moving from that spot," Jenkins told NFL Network on Saturday. "You can get after him and try and get pressure on him.

"He's obviously going to still make plays but the one thing about playing Aaron Rodgers is, if you want to get after him, he's good at beating you no matter how he does it."

JenkinsRodgers' mobility and athleticism allow him to buy time and space in or out of the pocket. Jenkins said that versatility gives Rodgers an edge over Brady, who plays as more of a traditional pocket passer.

"Whether he's (Rodgers is) mobile, you get him out of the pocket and he's just as accurate," said Jenkins, who lost to Rodgers and the Packers 27-13 in Week 12. "He can buy time. He's smart enough to change the plays at the line of scrimmage and get 'em in advantageous plays, get the ball out quick. He does it all.

"He's Russell Wilson and Tom Brady combined. And he's the hardest player, for me in terms of a quarterback, to play against."
