Panthers' Damiere Byrd: Plays one game

Byrd's only appearance this season came in Carolina's Week 17 loss to the Buccaneers, when he caught his lone target for 16 yards.

Analysis:

Byrd, an undrafted rookie from South Carolina, was demoted to the Panthers practice squad after being inactive for the first five weeks of this season. While he was ultimately able to make one regular-season appearance, Byrd will need to compete for a roster spot in 2017.
