New Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone will retain defensive coordinator Todd Wash, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and Mike DiRocco.

Defensive assistant Mike Rutenberg will also reportedly stay on the staff.

The pair would be the only defensive coaches retained under the new regime, however, as all other assistants were relieved of their duties.

Under Wash, the Jaguars finished as a top-10 defense in 2016 in yards allowed, but in the bottom 10 in points allowed.
