The Jacksonville Jaguars are keeping things familiar.

As reportedly expected, the Jaguars announced on Monday that Doug Marrone will be their new head coach after briefly filling the role on an interim basis, while former coach Tom Coughlin will take over as executive vice president of football operations. Both men reportedly received three-year contracts.

The team has also extended the contract of general manager David Caldwell for two years.

Jaguars owner Shad Khan released the following statement:

Marrone went 1-1 as interim head coach over the last two weeks of the 2016 season. He joined the team as assistant head coach and offensive line coach in 2015 and previously served as head coach of the Buffalo Bills for two seasons, leading them to their first winning season since 2004 in 2014.

Coughlin began his NFL head coaching career with the Jaguars when they first began as a franchise in 1995 and later went on to win two Super Bowls with the New York Giants in 2007 and 2011. He reportedly interviewed for the head coaching position as well before accepting his executive role.

The Jaguars fired head coach Gus Bradley after their Week 15 loss. His 14-48 record over parts of four seasons is the worst winning percentage by a head coach with at least 50 games in the Super Bowl era.
