The Cleveland Browns will be making a change on their coaching staff, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports.

The Browns will bring in current Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Gregg Williams to replace Ray Horton, La Canfora writes.

Horton served as the Browns' defensive coordinator in 2016. It was his second stint with the club.

Williams will be bringing with him assistant coaches Brandon Fisher, Dennard Wilson, and Blake Williams, Tony Grossi of ESPN reports.

Williams has served as the Rams' defensive coordinator for the past three seasons. He also held that role in 2012 but was suspended for the year for his involvement with the New Orleans Saints in their Bountygate scandal. Williams was the DC in New Orleans from 2009-11.

The Browns owned the league's second-worst defense in a season in which they won just one game. The Rams own one of the more talented defensive units in football and ranked ninth in total defense.
