Tony Romo is putting 2016 behind him.
In his first action of the season on the first day of 2017, the Dallas Cowboys veteran quarterback put together a successful touchdown drive, finding Terrance Williams for a 3-yard score in the second quarter.
Romo's only appearance of the 2016 regular season didn't last long, as he was replaced by Mark Sanchez on the next drive. The 36-year-old quarterback finished with 29 yards on 3-of-4 completed passes.
