OBJ, Bell question NFL's double standard over Elliott's Salvation Army celebration

Odell Beckham Jr. and Le'Veon Bell took to Twitter to voice their shock with the NFL's decision not to punish Ezekiel Elliott for his Salvation Army celebration during Sunday night's game.

The league announced Monday that Elliott won't be fined for jumping into a large Salvation Army kettle after scoring a touchdown Sunday, even though such a move would normally be classified as excessive celebration.

A few hours later, Bell echoed a similar sentiment, pointing out the fine he received for a past celebration with teammate Antonio Brown.

The decision not to punish Elliott was hailed as a rare rational move by the NFL. After all, the Salvation Army is a charity, and Elliott's celebration has increased charitable donations to the organization. Fining him didn't exactly seem to be in the holiday spirit.

Beckham is no stranger to excessive celebrations, nor NFL fines, and his tweet strongly suggests he doesn't believe he would be treated the same way as Elliott had he been the one jumping into a kettle.
