Colts' Andrew Luck: Dealing with shoulder soreness

Though Luck is dealing with some shoulder soreness, Colts owner Jim Irsay told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport that there is "no plan for surgery, certainly not on (Luck's) throwing shoulder." Meanwhile, Kevin Bowen of Colts.com relays that the QB is in uniform for practice Thursday.

Analysis:

Luck, who was hit a season-high 13 times this past Sunday, was held out of Wednesday's practice as he nurses right elbow/shoulder soreness, but the QB seems confident that he'll helm the Colts offense Sunday against the Vikings. "It's December football. Nobody feels as good as they want to," Luck noted after Wednesday's practice. "But you make sure you are ready to go for Sunday."
