Seahawks' Sherman deletes tweet defending cheap shot

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman appeared to deliver a cheap shot from behind to Green Bay Packers receiver Davante Adams in Sunday's game.

A clip of the hit was shared by Aaron Nagler of PackersNews.com on Wednesday, along with the caption "So cheap," to which Sherman responded defending the hit.

Sherman said in his response that the hit was legal because the quarterback was out of the pocket.

One problem with that: Nagler then shared evidence that Aaron Rodgers never left the pocket on the play.

Sherman has since deleted his tweet defending the hit, but the evidence lives on in the form of a screenshot:
