Bengals' Jones becomes latest corner to disrespect Pryor

Adam Jones still isn't impressed with what he's seen from Terrelle Pryor in his first full season after making the switch from quarterback to receiver.

Downplaying the significance of some instant production at his new position, Jones took a few shots at the Cleveland Browns wideout ahead of Sunday's matchup.

"He pushes off, every route. He's an OK receiver," Jones said, according to Jim Owczarski of Cincinnati.com. "They do feature him a little bit so he does get more looks than a guy who would be in his situation. He's just a guy to me."

The Cincinnati Bengals cornerback went on to reference Pryor's subpar showing in the first meeting between the two teams this season - two catches for 18 yards - before adding that he simply isn't all that fond of his opponent.

"He can't push at the top of a route, so you've just got to be in good position," Jones said. "We played him last game and he didn't do (expletive). ...

"I don't like him. You can put that in there."

Pryor was also the target of some similar jabs leading up to Week 12, where the New York Giants defensive backs thought he'd be no match for Janoris Jenkins.

The 27-year-old responded by racking up six catches for 131 yards in a losing effort, only to be called a "s--t eater" in a tweet Jenkins posted after the game.

Regardless of whether his opponents will give him credit, the numbers speak for themselves. Pryor enters play with the team lead in every major receiving category, tallying 62 receptions for 855 yards and four touchdowns.

Such impressive development so soon after making the difficult transition has the former Ohio State star in line to be paid accordingly on the free-agent market in March.
