Texans' Alfred Blue: Returns to action in Week 13

Blue rushed for 38 yards on five carries and caught two passes for three yards in Houston's 21-13 loss to Green Bay in Week 13.

Analysis:

Blue, who had missed the previous two games due to a calf injury, and Jonathan Grimes (five carries, one reception) each got opportunities in this game, but Grimes (25 snaps) had more playing time than Blue (nine). Starter Lamar Miller (31 snaps) was limited to 22 yards (1.57 YPC) by the Packers and the snowy/slippery conditions. Miller has seen his touches per game diminish as we get deeper into the season, which isn't surprising given his history in Miami. He's been dealing with nagging injuries the last few weeks, which has opened up touches for both of Houston's top backups, but at this point, neither Blue nor Grimes is a legitimate threat.
