Bears' Eddie Royal: Sidelined Sunday

Royal (toe) is inactive for Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Analysis:

Subjected to no practice reps for the second consecutive week, Royal will remain on the sideline rather than attempt to play through his toe injury, which held him to 12 of the Bears' 80 offensive snaps against the Titans last Sunday. Instead, wide receivers Cameron Meredith, Marquess Wilson, Deonte Thompson, and Josh Bellamy will work in conjunction with quarterback Matt Barkley.
