New England Patriots defensive tackle Alan Branch has won his appeal of a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's drug policy, ESPN's Field Yates reports.
Branch faced the ban after testing positive for marijuana, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported last month. On what grounds Branch won his appeal remains unclear.
Branch isn't a household name, but is a crucial component of the Patriots' defensive front. Primarily a space-eating presence in the interior, he has 39 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble in 11 starts this season.
