Dolphins' Xavien Howard: Won't play Sunday

Howard (knee) won't play Sunday in Baltimore, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.

Analysis:

There was some optimism earlier in the week that Howard would see his first game action since Oct. 9 but that was squashed quickly. Defensive coordinator Vance Joseph came out and stated Thursday that Howard is not ready yet. The Dolphins could use some help in the secondary but that help will have to wait until Week 14.
