Brown (knee) was not seen practicing Wednesday, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Analysis:

While there's still time, this certainly isn't an encouraging sign for Brown's chances at playing in Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. Given that Korey Toomer has blossomed in Brown's absence, the team likely doesn't want to rush the rookie linebacker back from injury.
