Patriots' Julian Edelman: Not at Wednesday's practice

Edelman (foot) was absent from Wednesday's practice , the Boston Herald reports.

Analysis:

Edelman, who continues to play through a listed foot injury, has been a limited practice participant since Week 5, so his absence Wednesday is of some note. That said, we wouldn't be surprised if this is more of a maintenance-related issue than an indication of a setback. We'll monitor Edelman's status in advance of Sunday's game against the Rams, nonetheless.
