Texans' Brock Osweiler: Questions start about QB change

Houston head coach Bill O'Brien was vague when responding to a question about replacing Osweiler with backup Tom Savage, telling Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle the Texans would "focus on improving and correcting mistakes."

Analysis:

Osweiler threw three interceptions without a touchdown in Sunday's 21-13 loss to the Chargers, and the team is last in the NFL in offensive touchdowns scored. We could cherry-pick other statistics to illustrate how poorly Osweiler has been this season, so naturally, the questions are starting. O'Brien showed a quick hook last season when quarterbacks didn't perform, but in 2016 he's stuck with Osweiler, owner of a $72 million contract. The next two games are against poor pass defenses (Green Bay, Indianapolis), so if a change were to be made, now would be a good time.
