Patriots' Rob Gronkowski: Won't return to Sunday's game

Gronkowski (back) will not return to Sunday's game against the Jets.

Analysis:

Gronkowski, who missed last week's game against the 49ers and was limited in practice this past week after suffering a chest/lung injury in Week 10, suited up Sunday. He didn't last very long, though, finishing up with zero catches on two targets. Gronkowski's status will thus be worth monitoring closely as next week's game against the Rams approaches. The same applies to fellow tight end Martellus Bennett, who's dealing with some aches and pains of his own.
