Browns' Robert Griffin: Will most likely return this season

Browns Executive Vice President of Football Operations Sashi Brown said Monday that Griffin (shoulder) will have a chance to play again this year, Cleveland.com reports.

Analysis:

Griffin has been on injured reserve since Sept. 12 with a fractured coracoid bone in his left shoulder, but it looks like the Browns' brass expect him to return and play at some point this season. He is eligible to come off injured reserve at any time and was seen throwing before Thursday's game with the Ravens, though it's still unclear when he'll be able to return to practice.
