Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Running routes Monday

Evans (concussion) was seen running routes while participating in the open portion of Monday's practice, ESPN's Jenna Laine reports.

Evans entered concussion protocol after suffering a hit to the head and being forced out during the fourth quarter of last Thursday's loss to the Falcons. Although partaking in practice to start this week is encouraging, Evans remains in the protocol, Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com reports. As a result, Evans still needs to receive clearance to be eligible to play this Sunday against the Bears, so his situation will require further monitoring as the week unfolds.
