Chargers' Travis Benjamin: Getting second opinion on knee

Benjamin (knee) will receive a second opinion on his PCL sprain after continuing to feel discomfort, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.

Analysis:

Benjamin has been listed with a knee injury since the Chargers' Week 7 practice preparations, and although he's yet to miss a game because of his PCL sprain, apparently he's been playing through some discomfort since then. While Benjamin was able to catch three passes for 44 yards and a touchdown Sunday versus the Broncos, his knee problem is such that he'll get a second opinion on how to carry on with it. While that raises some concern over Benjamin's upcoming availability, his status will need to be updated again before a more clear idea on his situation can be formed.
