Belichick labels Bills' Dareus one of NFL's best defensive tackles

Marcell Dareus will make his 2016 debut this Sunday, just in time for the Buffalo Bills' second meetup with the New England Patriots.

Finally healthy from a nagging hamstring injury, the nose tackle will hope to cause problems for the Patriots' offense.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick sees the challenge ahead, and offered a rare compliment to the defensive lineman.

"He's one of the best defensive tackles in the league," Belichick said at his Friday press conference.

The high praise wasn't just for Dareus, however. Typically gruff, Belichick sung the praises of Dareus' linemate, Kyle Williams, as well.

"Yeah, I mean those are two great players. Yeah, two great players. Kyle (Williams) is very active on everything. He's quick, he plays with good power, great motor, good pass rusher, good in the running game, a productive player. Marcell is big, strong, athletic, hard to knock off the ball, plays on his feet. I mean they're both really good."

The Bills shutout the Patriots 16-0 the first time they met this season, back in Week 4. Perhaps, Belichick is just softening up his opponent with heavy helpings of flattery.
