Cowboys' Tony Romo: Still not practicing

Romo (back) is not participating in Monday's practice, ESPN's Todd Archer reports.

Analysis:

Romo wasn't expected to return to practice to start this week, and although he's edging closer to that hurdle, his continued absence Monday isn't surprising. Rookie quarterback Dak Prescott is anticipated to maintain his starting job for this Sunday's game against the Eagles, but Romo will hope to take the practice field and stake his claim for first-team snaps before long.
