Ravens' Joe Flacco: Will be active Sunday

Flacco (right shoulder) will be active for Sunday's game against the Jets, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Flacco, who was able to practice in full on Friday, appears to be on track to start Sunday despite dealing with pain in his throwing shoulder throughout the week. The Ravens elected not to activate reserve quarterback David Fales, so they'll stick to the duo of Flacco and backup Ryan Mallett in Week 7. Unfortunately, veteran wide receiver Steve Smith (ankle) is expected to be out of the lineup, leaving Mike Wallace, Kamar Aiken (thigh), Breshad Perriman, and tight end Dennis Pitta as the top weapons in the team's aerial attack.
