Bills' Shaq Lawson: Added to active roster

Lawson (shoulder) was added to the Bills' active roster on Friday.

Analysis:

The Bills' top draft pick is all set to make his season debut Sunday against the Dolphins. He has spent the first six games of the season on the team's PUP list due to a shoulder injury and subsequent surgery. Head coach Rex Ryan planned to "err on the side of caution" with the rookie when the week began, but Lawson has looked great by all accounts, and is now expected to step right into the gameday lineup. He figures to rotate in for both Jerry Hughes and Lorenzo Alexander at outside linebacker, and could also play the inside on passing downs.
