Cardinals' John Brown: Listed as doubtful after another missed practice
Brown (leg) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports 910 reports.
Analysis:
Recent blood tests revealed that Brown is suffering from leg pains caused by sickle-cell trait, not the hamstring injury that was previously reported. This may explain why he's been hampered by lower-body issues on and off for the past couple years in addition to struggling with his conditioning earlier this season. He didn't practice at all this week, which essentially ensures he'll miss Sunday's game. Michael Floyd and J.J. Nelson figure to take on added snaps and targets -- especially if Jaron Brown (knee) is also unavailable. Given the nature of (John) Brown's health concern, he may be facing a highly variable timetable to return.
