Chargers' Brandon Flowers: Ruled out for Sunday

Flowers (concussion) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Falcons, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Flowers was able to practice on a limited basis Thursday, but that wasn't enough to convince the Chargers to activate the corner for Sunday's game, marking the fourth straight game the 30-year-old will miss with symptoms stemming from his Week 3 concussion. Look for Casey Hayward to get the start at corner once again.
