Redskins' Jordan Reed: Ruled out for second straight week

Reed (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Detroit.

Analysis:

Given his lengthy history of concussions, it's not exactly surprising that Reed will take more than one week to make it through the league's protocol. Vernon Davis will fill in as the top tight end, with Niles Paul potentially also getting some looks. Wideouts Jamison Crowder, Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson (shoulder) could also take on a few extra targets.
