Bears' Jordan Howard: Stymied on ground again in Week 7 loss

Howard managed only 22 yards on seven carries and failed to catch his only target in Thursday's 26-10 loss to the Packers.

Analysis:

The rookie surprisingly got out-touched by Ka'Deem Carey, who received three more carries. Factoring in a scuffling performance on the ground in Week 6 against the Jaguars, Howard now has 56 yards on 22 carries in his last two games, a sharp contrast from the 229 yards on 39 carries he'd managed in the previous pair of contests. With Carey having come on the last two weeks, the Bears backfield looks like a true committee situation at present.
