Panthers' Cam Newton: On the practice field again Thursday

Newton (concussion) took the practice field Thursday for the second day in a row, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

It won't be clear until after the session how much work Newton was able to get in, but his presence alone indicates he did not suffer any sort of setbacks in his return to the practice field Wednesday. Barring any issues over the next couple days, he is on track to be back under center for the Panthers in Week 6.
