Broncos' DeMarcus Ware: Ruled out for Thursday

Ware (forearm) has been ruled out of Thursday's game against the Chargers, Mike Klis of 9News reports.

Analysis:

Ware was never really expected to make a return to the field this week, so his designation as out for Thursday comes as little surprise. He'll spend another week off for additional rest and recovery, with his next opportunity to return coming Oct. 24 against the Texans. Shane Ray is expected to remain a starter with Ware still on the sidelines.
