Brady after 3-TD season debut: 'I can do better'

Tom Brady couldn't wait to get back on the field.

Freed from his four-game suspension to begin the season, the New England Patriots quarterback eviscerated the opposing Cleveland Browns by throwing for 406 yards and three touchdowns.

"I thought the team played really well. Just fun to be a part of it. It's been a fun week getting ready to play and being back to doing what I love to do," Brady said after the game.

Brady was as accurate as ever, going 28-of-40, completing 70 percent of his passes and finishing with a passer rating of 127.7. But if you let the three-time Super Bowl MVP tell it, he wasn't at his best.

"I think there was plenty of rust out there," he said. "I can do better in a lot of areas and I think it was a good win today, but it was one game and, like I said, 4-1 is a good place to be for us, but we've got a long road ahead."

Brady, however, wasn't willing to share his thoughts on the Deflategate saga or the suspension he served, choosing to instead focus on the present.

"I've just moved on, man. I'm just trying to play a good game today," he said.

"I was just focusing on what my job is and what I have to do and it felt very much like a normal week for me once I got into it. It was fun to come out and play and fun to win. That's the most important thing."

He did divulge one detail though, what he missed about the game.

"Everything. It's a great game," Brady said. "I think just being with my teammates and playing for them and celebrating with them after a great win. You come on the road, and the last time we were here it didn't go so well, so I'm glad it went better today."
