Dolphins' DeVante Parker: Quiet in Week 4 loss

Parker (hamstring) secured two of three targets for 20 yards in Thursday's 22-7 loss to the Bengals.

Analysis:

The second-year pro couldn't forge many connections with Ryan Tannehill on a night when the Dolphins QB was continually harassed and therefore found time in the pocket to often be at a premium. Parker's downfield routes often need at least a few seconds to develop, which wasn't a luxury that the Bengals' formidable pass rush afforded very often Thursday. Parker's performances through the three games he has played have ranged from impressive to mediocre, but his vast upside certainly remains. However, given the current state of the Dolphins' virtually non-existent rushing attack, it may take a return by Arian Foster to the lineup to open things up consistently for the second-year pro and the Miami passing game as a whole.
