Eagles' Trey Burton: Hauls in two passes in Week 3
Burton hauled in two of six passes for 19 yards during Sunday's win against the Steelers.
Analysis:
Inactive in Week 1, Burton has taken on an increased role the past two games in Zach Ertz's (rib) absence, totaling seven catches (on 13 targets) for 68 yards and one touchdown during that stretch. The Eagles' bye week has arrived, though, and head coach Doug Pederson told NJ.com on Monday that he expects Ertz to be available in their next contest at Detroit on Oct. 9. If Ertz is indeed cleared to suit up, Burton could again find himself on the inactive list.
