Watch: Bizarre Bucs-Rams game ends equally strangely

Jonathan Dyer / USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Rams are quietly 2-1 after a 37-32 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a game that took well over four hours to complete.

Following a weather delay lasting over an hour, the Buccaneers forced a punt and marched down the field with surgical precision in what looked like a signature drive from quarterback Jameis Winston.

Despite their steady progression, the Bucs allowed the clock to run several times, even though they had all three timeouts. But they eventually made their way into the red zone with 0:26 seconds on the clock.

The Rams tightened up defensively and the Bucs stalled just when it looked like they were about to score.

Finally, with four seconds left at the Rams' 15-yard line, Winston rolled out of the pocket and crossed the line of scrimmage. Instead of attempting to run for the end zone, Winston continued pump-faking 10 yards downfield and was tackled from behind, bringing the game to an end.

The small rain-soaked crowd that stuck out the lightning storm was treated to a bizarre finish, and the Bucs have now lost two straight following a fast start to the season.
