Giants' Eli Manning: Hurt by turnovers Sunday versus Redskins

Manning completed 25 of 38 passes for 350 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 29-27 loss to the Redskins.

Analysis:

Manning led his team to 21 points in the first half, but the offense sputtered in the second stanza, generating just six points as the 'Skins came back to win the game. Manning was especially hurt by turnovers, as both of his interceptions came in the fourth quarter, including one on the last drive of the game as the Giants' comeback attempt neared midfield. Manning has piled up 925 passing yards through three games, but he has an even TD:Turnover ratio and has generated just two touchdowns in the last 10 quarters. Things will not get any easier for Manning, as a matchup versus a formidable Vikings defensive unit looms in Week 4.
